Externally Owned Account (EOA)

An Externally Owned Account or EOA is an address that is controlled by a user. The user maintains control with a private key and often interacts with the wallet through a wallet application, such as a browser extension or hardware device, that is not internal to the blockchain itself. This address can be used for transactions on the network through user triggered actions.
