Contract Account (CA)

A Contract Account or (CA) is a collection of code (functions) and data (state) that resides at a specific address on a blockchain. It is internal to the blockchain itself and is executed through functions that are triggered by either an EOA or another CA. Contract Accounts do not have an associated private key thus they control themselves by predetermined rules and logic that are defined in the smart contract code itself.
